    not worth the hype!

    The place is not worth the hype and cost. No glasses in the rooms, very old furniture, poor lighting, broken cupboards. You cant sit and eat breakfast! You have to pick up a brown paper bag and go! The only savior is the Rum bar! Amazing live music and good place to hang out!

    Make my trip charged me a higher rate for room with breakfast. At the time of booking there was no mention that room with breakfast refers to a “grab and go” breakfast which was meagre and no only I paid a higher rate for that room I also had to pay an extra facility fees because of the breakfast option . All this was not mentioned at the time of booking . I also got to know at the property that had I not included breakfast in my booking I wouldn’t have had to pay the facility fees as well. There was another option of a buffet breakfast which was just 6 USD with no extra facility fees . Had I known these details at the time of booking I would have never paid a premium rate to include that looser breakfast and for which I paid another 7-8k facility fees at the property

    Located in the heart of manhattan just minutes away from times square, central park, it’s nice for soaking up the ny vibe. Downside is it’s an old property with small rooms that may not appeal to some.

    Hotel was at prime location but rooms don't have any fridge and kittle. Rooms were very outdated with lots of refurbishment needed. Over all it was average hotel. Can look for other hotel with same price with bigger room and utilities. . Please read the terms and condition of free breakfast. If you sit and eat at the restaurant for free breakfast they will charge you. Only take away of breakfast is free that too very very limited things is available for take away.

    Hotel edison times square is very close to times square and easily accessible to many shopping places. Hotel is ok in terms of basic facilities. Rooms are cramped and cleanliness was kind of ok but since it’s a old hotel, may be we can’t do much about it. Not easy to access reception or room service as phones were not working and had to step out to reach. Breakfast they said complimentary and have a five dollar voucher, however they charged us for that in the resturant. Overall it’s an average experience.

    I stayed for 8 nights during my recent stay. The hotel is located very close to times square and offers good amenities and ambience. There are two nice restaurants on the premises and there are a variety of nice eating options nearby.

    Reception staff was not at all friendly, they charged 200 dollars as a security. 70dollars plus taxes were high for breakfast n facilities. Very money minded hotel.
