Location and price are beautiful

This is a beautiful hotel located bang in the city centre, and not very expensive. The day we checked in, we were told that our bed won't be sufficient for 2 adults + 1 child, so the person manning the reception counter upgraded us to a room with larger bed. Needless to say we appreciate this kind gesture, but that's where the good things end. The following morning, I had to go about 3 KMS from the hotel for some work, and this new person at the reception was, let's say the least helpful person I could ever find at that time. I had some medical issue and I was (visibly) in deep pain and could barely walk. When I asked this new receptionist for directions, he first told me about the walking path, which was not possible for me in that condition. So, when I asked him for some information on buses, he asked me if I stay in Lund, to which I responded in negative, then he immediately said, "I can't help you anymore". This upset me at many different levels. Did he refuse to help me just because I'm not white? Was he bordering racism? I was not in Lund to seek refuge, I was INVITED to be there for work.
