Excellent hospitality, room is spacious , very hygienic, good was awesome..in all aspects me and my family enjoyed our stay, especially their breakfast food menu. Very friendly staff, the cost is very reasonable.We like this hotel very much and will be sure to go back in the future.

review for hotel mirage, colombo our family stay at hotel mirage, colombo, was an absolute nightmare. despite the location being decent (though parking was very limited, the overall experience was dreadful and far from what one would expect from a reputed establishment. check-in disaster: we had confirmed reservations for a family room we were denied check-in. the staff demanded an additional citing expedia rates but failed to provide any proof of communication. this blatant attempt to overcharge us was extremely unprofessional and stressful. after heated discussions, they reluctantly offered us a substandard room, which was far below expectations. room conditions: the room was a disgrace. the bathroom reeked of a fishy odor, and to our horror, we found a cockroach in the room. housekeeping was nonexistent, adding to the unhygienic and unpleasant stay. food quality: the food served was consistently cold, even during the much-anticipated gala dinner. the menu offered very limited choices, particularly for vegetarians, making it a frustrating experience for our family. management: the management, from hamid to alok, was utterly shameless and unhelpful. their lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction was appalling. *given that it was our last day in a foreign country during new year's, we chose not to escalate matters further* however, this hotel left us with a sour taste and ruined the end of our trip. verdict: *hotel mirage is a disgusting establishment with incompetent management. we would strongly advise against staying here. save yourself the trouble and choose a better hotel. this place is an embarrassment to colombo’s hospitality industry. there are no images to share of a downright disgusting 2 star hotel.

The hotel is right opposite the ocean on marine drive. Rooms are basic but well kept. Staff is polite and welcoming. Washrooms are clean but styled a bit old.

Good stay on the bay, nice polite staff, all the food in the restaurant was super b. We had a great stay with my family at mirage colombo.

The room is cozy and comfy. Loved the night we stayed here. The kids enjoyed the stay and the buffet here.

our stay was very enjoyable, and we were especially impressed by the staff, who were incredibly helpful and welcoming at every point—from parking and reception to baggage assistance and the dining area. check-in was smooth, and we were pleased with the cleanliness and spaciousness of our room. the only downside was the view, as our window faced an apartment building, making it difficult to keep the curtains open for natural light. however, the location was excellent, just a short distance from colombo, and breakfast, while limited in selection, was of good quality. thank you for the warm hospitality!

For early check in means 4-5 hours before check in time, they charge you 1 day fare. Which was very bad. Amenities in the room mentioned was not there. Like bathtub. It was clearly mentioned in booking that room have bath tub. But in hotel they said maybe it’s a mistake. Also make my trip cant help in that. So my experience was very bad with this hotel and make my trip as well.

The location of the hotel is jus amazing especially if you get the sea view room. Am not sure about all the rooms but the one we got on the 5th floor was large, for this budget to get such a big room with this view, perfect. The staff right from the check in to the restaurant and housekeeping are very courteous and helpful. I wish they could maintain the property better, signs of aging in many places.

Amazing view from our room, the beach and the railway track close to this property is an added bonus. You will have a variety of breakfast available here. Beautiful and friendly people work here. Overall an amazing stay.
