We had an amazing stay at Hikka Tranz the Cinnamon resort. Located right next to Hikaduwa beach, the location was just wonderful. Only drawback was, we traveled during non-season time hence the tidal waves were aggressive and hence we were not able to do snorkeling or any activity. Better to travel from November to April when there is low tide and coral reefs can be seen clearly. The food at the resort was delicious. Even the staff was really friendly and supportive. We really had a memorable stay at this resort.

Had an amazing stay at Hikkatranz. The location of the property is amazing. We were a huge group with children and the stay was perfect. Starting right from check in the staff were so courteous and every member of the staff always cheerful ready to help and pleasant . The rooms are huge with this super awesome balcony. The dinner and breakfast buffet is extraordinary. What makes the property really special is the access to the beach and turtle feeding right there. Highly recommend this place.

Hikka tranz has our heart! a stunning and probably the only property worth staying at in hikkaduwa! the staff is exceptional, the rooms are huge and good and the location. It's the absolute best! once you've had a day out in the pool, head to the beach and find turtles right at your feet. The water is clean and perfect for snorkeling and the vibe overall is to die for. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was out best stay in srilanka by far.

The view was amazing. The resort was beautiful. However, our phone in the room was not working, the hair dryer was not working and the cups were not returned after cleaning. The phone and the hair dryer was not fixed despite repeated complaints. We had to go to the reception each time we needed something.

Location is great. But thats where it ends. Rooms are old, most aspects did not work, wifi was sketchy, food selection / quality for buffet not great, bar did not have any offerings with the drinks as they were over.

The property is located right on the coast and has a great view from the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast and dinner offer a splendid variety. H however, the a la carte menu is quite limited and restricted to the room service menu. Vegetarians have very little choice in this.

Fabulous view and nice rooms with big balcony. You can spot turtles on the beach. Very nice staff and the chef k. Khan is great and very humble. Goes out of the way to satisfy the taste buds.

Right from the time we entered the hotel at 3 am in the night till the time we checked out one day later, our experience at hikka tranz was awesome! a big thanks to all the smiling and hospitable staff around. Rusiru, a hotel attendant and a very young boy was always around with his smiling face, the concierge in charge mr chintak who helped us arrange for a cab even before we reached srilanka and chef khan who was taking personal care of all guests and all other friendly staff in the property, made our stay perfect and truly memorable. The room, the ambience, the open areas every place was clean 24*7 and the food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) was full of variety and tasty. We had a perfect stay at hikka tranz with turtles around! highly recommended property
