Note: The Hotel Keyring is TOO BIG to carry around the 5" key in pockets when going out. (No Keycard system) The rooms follow a minimilast design concept with Bali theme furnishing. The beds, tables, storage shelves are all concrete, while the fittings are Bamboo and wood with earthly finish. All over a clean look, which is probably low-maintenance for the tropical weather. Cleanliness is topnotch in rooms & washroom, Elephant Beach Club & Resort Samui staff is friendly, checkin was smooth. The usual toiletries, slippers and Bathrobes are provided. Washrooms are SMALLISH. Water flows at high pressure and hot water supply is good. The beach facing restaurant does NOT have club vibes at all, with a decent fire show; overall the restaurant is a quiet place with a limited menu. Decent tasting food, but not a place to specifically visit for food enthusiasts. It can be stated with certainty that the Resort should NOT have CLUB in its title. Beachfront Restaurant & Resort - Yes. Club - NO.
