Location wise the best. In case you are staying on the 2nd floor and above in front-facing room, one gets a panoramic view of the city. Very good and helping staff.

A well located hotel with easy access to market area. The rooms are decently furnished, with room heater and 24 hours hot/cold water. The restaurant downstairs serves a decent fare. The staff are very courteous and helpful. All in all a good place to stay.

Excellent hotel if you can climb stairs

I stayed at this hotel for one day only on 18 october. The staff was kind enough to give me the stadium facing room with an awesome view of the mountains. The food at their restaurant was excellent too. The only drawback is that the hotel does not have a lift. Very close to the bus stand. I would recommend this hotel.

Worst Hotel on our Bhutan trip

There was nothing good about this hotel, they gave us the worst room just because we had booked online. The furniture was all rugged and full of dust felt like a store room. Very bad hospitality at the reception. The curtains were all torn. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Very basic Hotel for the price they charge for rooms. Service is pathetic and food is usually not good! Rooms are okay but not as shown in the website pictures. There is a construction going on next door! Location is right in the heart of the main Town!

Lovely place to stay in the city center

This hotel is at the very center of the city. The clock tower is right behind this hotel and the football stadium in the front. The hotel is clean. The breakfast is simple with not too many varieties. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes at walk-able distances from the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly. If you are planning to opt for a local tour of Thimphu kindly get in touch with the hotel receptionist Samten who comes in at 6 in the evening. The Hotel does not have a lift. So if you get a room in the forth floor like we did, be prepared to climb the flight of stairs. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its location and cleanliness. Worth the money.

The room was in very good condition. Free WiFi is available at the hotel. The staff is very helpful and one of them even helped me with some documentation to get a permit to go to Punakha. Room service is not available sometimes if the kitchen is busy. Hot water is also available some of the time.

Poor Stay

Maintenance of the room was very poor. The curtains, mattresses were unclean. Had to call upon the Hotel manager to get the covers changed. Hotel is located on the main road due to which it's very noisy and late evenings its terrible. To add to chaos there is some construction happening in the building. The room was not clean and very unhygienic. We somehow managed to complete our stay. We are very disappointed and will never ever recommend to our friends or relatives.

The Hotel was in market area. It does not had a basic amenities like lift. Behavior of the staff was very bad and unprofessional, they were trying to cheat the travelers, room service was poor, TV was not working, food was horrible.
