Worst experience in vietnam

Firstly, the hotel description and photos are misleading. We booked the panoramic deluxe room and the room looked so spacious with space for even a couch set. But the actual room had barely 1. 5 ft space with a bed runner. The room was deemed fit to occupy 2 adults and 1 child but it was so compact, it was hard to even walk. Onto the specifics 1. It is located next to the cordial grand hotel and considering the same name and same address, we didn’t know they’re 2 separate hotels. They treat the prior with utmost care and this hotel is severely understaffed with 2-3 people managing everything. 2. Housekeeping work was below average. We kept getting sand in our feet on all 4 days we stayed there even though we went to the beach for only 2 days. We even found a single sock piece in our bed that didn’t belong to us. The bed sheets weren’t changed as well. We literally redid the bed sheets ourselves to get rid of the sand. Some pillows didn’t even have pillow covers. 3. The lock was extremely hard to manage. It wasn’t opening at all, even the reception girl couldn’t open and this problem was being faced by other neighbouring customers too. 4. They didn’t keep complementary tea packets and all by themselves we had to call them and ask for everything. 5. The language barrier was basic necessities was very hard to manage. Hotel staff doesn’t know basic english. However, the staff tried their best and were polite, although seemed helpless. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was quite good as well.
