Katathani Phuket Beach Resort

The report is a township in itself! Too huge with all facilities required. Staff is good too. They have beach access, multiple restaurants and swimming pools and a superb kids water play area. The only feedback is - we were given the last room in the resort and with small kids it was difficult to walk so much. But even after requests they couldn’t change our room, whereas there were other rooms available.

The hotel was very nice beautiful views and very huge . The staff was very friendly and the kids were very safe and looked after by the staff

Katathani resort is very beautiful with the beachfront property providing breathtaking views. The hotel staff is also very warm and welcoming. The amenities inside the resort are reasonably priced and at par with market rates outside. There is no reason to leave the resort. It is perfect for kids who will love the different pools available. The pool side bars are amazing. And the beach is pristine, clean and vee pretty. Despite being a public beach, it isn't crowded at all. Only drawback is lack of vegetarian options. They could do with adding more options if they want to attract more Indians

Our check-in experience was pretty bad. From requesting early check-in few weeks early (and not receiving any acknowledgement/confirmation) to having to wait for a long time even post actual check-in time with 2 tired kids. Also, the check-in staff was not accommodating at all. When we finally got our room we found some stuff from the previous occupant kept in the drawer. But apart from the check-in, it was pretty amazing! The staff was very polite, breakfast was awesome, hotel itself is pretty amazing, the aqua play area was super fun for the kids. Room was pretty spacious and had great views.

A great family vacation , we were family of 3 couples 3 kids and 2 infants. We stayed at sea facing suite and it was the best choice . The gush of winds and waves made us feel we were right on beach . With so many pools and dining places , we never ran short of choices . Highly recommend for family and groups .

Only if you can stay at thani wing, then only you’ll love katathani, the way i do. 2019 my first stay, 2024 my 2nd stay and 3rd stay very soon. But where, thani wing, grand suite only.

The resort is excellent. We got a grand deluxe upgraded to a room with a balcony with access to the pool directly. The room service was outstanding. The breakfast was also very good. The property has a few restaurants which also has vegetarian items in the menu. The resort has access to kata beach where you can just lie down and enjoy the sunset from the comforts of the resort. We used their local tours henpdesk and they were super helpful. Overall a very good stay and we would recommend this to all especially families with kids. They have lot of kids activities as well.

Wonderful location with private beach accesss. Well maintained property with all amenities. It has two wings bhuri and thani. Than i wing has sea facing rooms while bhuri wing is preferable if you are travel-ling with kids because it has kids play area and splash pool. All in all great property.

Best beachfront location in phuket. Great room and supportive staff. All our tours booked by them were superb. Our daughter enjoyed their indoor play area a lot. Food options could have been better for vegetarians including indian food.

We booked our stay at katathani phuket for 4 days - now the much anticipated stay was disrupted by an accident that happened at the hotel - which is why they had to shift many guests to other hotels, for stay only, while we were still free to access the hotel premises, use the facilities and eat her. It was disheartening for us not to be able to stay here eventually but we still experienced the best service. The hotel staff - especially ms. Laila and her team - made our stay very very enjoyable and convenient- kudos to the staff for their conduct and behaviour. Katathani is truly a 5 star experience, and gives you access to the the most amazing beach in kata. Food at the hotel is amazing- they are very accommodative. Love the place - if ever we visit phuket again, this will be our stay!

The property is huge. If you go as a family pls check exactly which section you will be put into. Overall the quality of food in the restaurants was disappointing and over priced (as expected in a hotel. Fortunately there are lots of street side restaurants and a 711 to keep you busy and well fed. The pool towel system is a bit frustrating (you get issued one towel per guest per day) as opposed to central towel facilities.

Nice sprawling property neatly tucked away from the crowd. Kind of private beach is a big plus and the kids swimming pool is a winner for the family demographics. They arranged for a birthday cake without request based on the checkin information. 5 stars

lovely beach front property but the staff can be more hospitable and friendly they are not accommodating… over all a good experience ..

resort has 2 wings, when we booked that was not clarified…we were put up in bhuri wing and even in that wing we were given the last room possible which was farthest from the ocean and restaurants. we were travelling with young children and it was very inconvenient to walk such long distance for everything. plus the room had no view…forget ocean view it did not even have pool view. we were travelling to celebrate 40th birthday of 3 family members and it was a big let down. the hotel staff and service however was the best. i’m happy with the hotel.

Great hospitality, polite staff and scenic location. Best location to see the sunset from their pools.

Wonderful resort located at the kathathani beach on the southern part of phuket. An awesome place to retire and relax. So many pools. Awesome location and beautiful people
