Decent hotel with good location

I was here for 2 nights, best part of my stay was breakfast, it had lot of variety. There is also metro station (Florenc) at 2 minutes walking distance, and centre square is accessible with a 15 minute walk.

The hotel is located centrally and very convenient to visit all the top attractions. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the service, cleanliness etc. Were also up to the mark. We stayed just for a day, the breakfast was also nice.

Presfect location - near the bus station and the old town. Staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast istasty and everything is fresh. The room was a bit out dated, but clean. Perfect for our needs - visiting thr city.

The hotel was overall good. It’s located in a great location right next to the main bus station and about 10-15 mins walking distance from Prague’s Old Town. The staff were friendly and helpful even though they forgot to put soap and towels in our room, but that was rectified immediately. The rooms are a bit dated, however. There’s no AC, which, in the summer, may be a problem. There was a fan. The central heating system was a bit insufficient and it took time before the room temperature got to the desired level. We had Bath tube in the bathroom, but there was no Bath curtain, so the whole floor was wet after a shower and that was inconvenient. The breakfast was superb. It had everything for any taste and the staff made sure no plates are empty. Overall, I’d highly recommend Merkur and would come back again.

Overall nice hotel, however I was given a room in a secluded corner. To reach there one has to climb a long stair case as lift doesn't go there. Hotel staff helped me with the luggage, but still! Room overall is OK, with required amenities. Washroom was also decent. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good, with many options for vegetarians. In short good for solo budget travellers.

The room was large and spacious. For the price, it is very good value for money as the property is very clean, well located close to the metro and the amenities are very good. The staff is very courteous and the breakfast buffet is very good. Only thing is that it could be better if they provided Free Wi-Fi throughout the property instead of keeping any conditions.
