Wonderful and warm place!

This place is for those who love to meet new people and don't mind sharing space! Located near the king's cross international, it is easily accessible although a little difficult to spot! I spent three days here and shared a dormitory with six others who thankfully happened to be wonderful people! The reception is open 24x7 and that was a huge relief for me as I wasn't used to the city. All basic facilities are provided and given how expensive London is, I would definitely recommend this for students and others traveling in a budget. I did not check out the cafe or bar due to shortage of time but have heard it's great from those who did. Overall, I would recommend to try this place if you're in London and I can't wait to stay here for my next trip!

The Generator London is located pretty central, still within walking distance from King's Cross and St. Pancras. Check-in and check-out were simple and fast. The 4-bed room was pretty tiny, but sufficient for one, or a couple of nights. Bed sheets seemed clean to me. I didn't have a drink at the bar on the ground floor, but it seemed pretty chill and vibrant! Pretty big hostel with lots of rooms - the floors can be a bit of a maze, depending on what room you get. You'll have to walk a bit to find the nearest toilets and I myself had problems locating the showers on my floor, and even decided to go ask at the reception if there were even showers on my floor! Also, be prepared to pay for every little service extra (like lockers, towels, breakfast, etc). Other than that, overall, a pretty solid budget option!

Budget friendly hostel, clean and friendly atmosphere

Stayed in this hostel as I need to catch a morning train from kings cross. Shared a bunk bed in a room of 10. Room is spacious bunk bed are with good height, makes you comfortable. They have a bar and kitchen as well. Nice sitting areas. Value for money.
