It was very nice and staff was very caring to provide an upgraded room for the convenience of my wife having mobility issue.

Fantastic and clean rooms, very well organised, very courteous staff special mention to Vida at the reception counter, lovely breakfast spread. Only thing that was missing was the pool which I believe is a must specially for a Hyatt property.

I recently booked a 6-night stay at hyatt sydney, and i strongly recommend reconsidering before booking this hotel. Despite paying over 1 lakh for our stay, the service fell far below expectations. While a few staff members, such as liam, viktor, and santosh, were helpful, my experience with another staff member, nathaniel, was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. During a phone conversation with nathaniel, we requested a cutlery set to be delivered to our room. He confirmed he knew our room number but deliberately gave the wrong number to the restaurant, delaying the service unnecessarily. Such behavior is unacceptable. Additionally, we ordered a green salad from room service and were informed of an $8 delivery fee in the room. When i mentioned that i’d never heard of a delivery charge within a hotel restaurant, nathaniel responded with a dismissive remark, saying, “there’s always a first time for things to happen in life. ” this level of unprofessionalism is shocking, especially from a premium brand like hyatt. Parking was another major issue. The hotel stated “car parking available, ” but this does not mean free parking. We were charged $85 per day for parking at the nearby william parking lot, a detail that was not clarified during booking. We end up paying $540 for parking. Imagine just for parking. I urge others to confirm all details with hyatt before booking to avoid surprises. The overall service was incredibly slow. Waiting over an hour for a cutlery set, simply because a staff member didn’t like us, felt discriminatory and outright disrespectful. I hope senior management takes serious action against such rude and unprofessional behavior. We just had a very terrible experience. Everything you request to the hotel staff they have just one answer to all your questions/queries. It is against our hotel policy. The staff is never ready to help you out even if you stay with them for 6 days. I would request all of the guest to stay away from this particular hotel. Thanks

Exceptionally well located in the heart of sydney overlooking the darling harbour, very good service and polite staff.

Pluses: great location, next to entertainment hubs/ shopping malls; very good big rooms with gr 8 harbour view from balcony rooms. Perhaps best in sydney. Good housekeeping and reception ( xavier was very good. Minuses: balcony railings have huge gaps ; too dangerous for kids. Rooms large but no space for 2 bags; no cupboards; no roof/ hand showers in shower cubicles; one always needs two hands to flush as levers are hidden behind toilet seat. ; breakfast is a task in itself. Total customer unfriendly restaurant & breakfast process especially for omlette and tea coffee. Inefficient ushers at peak breakfast time. ; dnd board keeps on falling due to cut provided.

Ac was not working, call everyday a new person and house keeping team was very bad, please book another hotel, not recommend

Highly Higly Unsatisfied with the Services, Long Delays in room service, front Desk attendants are rude and not courteous at all, infact after settling the bill one night prior and informing about early checkout they did not send anyone to collect luggage from room, silly excuse they gave was they don’t have staff, is it a duty of guest to find them staff. Highly not recommended, stay in some lodge but not in this so called self declared 5*

It was a great property right by the Darling Harbour and walkable to any building in CBD. Food was great. Not a lot of Indian options though.

Close to darling Harbour, and all its entertainment and food spots, close to hop on hop off bus stop and close to the harbor cruise pick up. It is also a good walking distance to the City center as well as China Town. The rooms are clean, the breakfast was great. We had dinner one night and that was food as well. Being vegetarians we did not have as much section as the rest of the folks. But we were happy with the food. We enjoyed our three day stay here. It is a wonderful hotel.

Blocking a good amount at room booking is not good option in Australia

Apart from the location, Hyatt Regency Sydney is very plain in terms of rooms.

The hotel is in a beautiful location in the harbour side .close to the ICC and very convenient .Great place to stay.
The wardrobe was cramped. The toilet too not a Hyatt kind of toilet.
