I stayed at Rama Beach Resort with my family for 5 nights. The resort is located in the heart of Kuta, which made it very convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The exterior ambiance of the property is truly beautiful—with lush greenery, a well-maintained garden, a peaceful pool area, and attractive landscaping that made the outdoor experience enjoyable.
However, the room experience was disappointing and fell short of expectations. The rooms are not soundproof, and during the night, we constantly heard the sound of running water from the bathroom area, which disturbed our sleep. On top of that, most of the taps were leaky, indicating a lack of proper maintenance. And the water water quality is to bad , very hard water
Cleanliness was another major issue. The room interiors seemed neglected—some furnishings were broken or damaged. The towels provided were yellowish and didn’t feel fresh. The bathtub was unusable due to a damaged overflow metal part, which was not only unappealing but also a potential safety hazard. The bathroom window louvers were dusty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while.
We also felt disconnected from the restaurant service. It seemed to operate separately from the hotel. Every time we had a question, the front desk would ask us to contact the restaurant directly. Even a simple request for boiled water for our daughter’s instant noodles was declined unless we paid an extra charge, which felt unreasonable during a longer stay.
In summary, while the resort offers a beautiful outdoor atmosphere and a great location, the room conditions, soundproofing, plumbing, and service experience need significant improvement. We hope management takes these issues seriously to offer a more comfortable and guest-friendly experience in the future.
